Who We Are

National Field Service Officers of the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) are responsible for linking veterans with local services, assuring that the newly blinded take advantage of VA Blind Rehabilitation Services, and assisting them with VA claims when necessary. When blinded veterans are ready to return to the workforce, BVA National Field Service Officers can assist them with resources for employment training and placement

Their goal is to locate and assist blinded veterans in overcoming the challenges inherent in sight loss. Since all of the Service Officers are legally blind veterans themselves, they can be effective role models in demonstrating that fellow veterans can take charge of their lives.

Virginia is located in Region 2 of the BVA's Field Service Program. The Field Service Officer for Region 2 is:

Officer: Wade Davis, jewel.davis1@va.gov
Assistant: Brenda Davis, brenda.Davis9@va.gov
Appeals Management Center, 1722 I Street, NW, Room 206A, Washington, DC 20421
Phone: 202-530-9285/9286 or 800-669-7079 (Voicemail 602), Fax: 202-530-9129
