Event Description

The Lynchburg Area Veterans Council (LAVC) announces:  

In honor of the 80th Anniversary of the D Day Invasion on June 6, 1944, LAVC will host Ken and Linda Parker, Founders and Curators of The Bedford Boys Tribute Center with a premier showing of the documentary on the Bedford Boys “We have casualties….”   on April 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at the American Legion, 1301 Greenview Drive in Lynchburg.

 “We have casualties….” is the only documentary done on Company A's heroic actions from Bedford on Normandy's beaches.  Ken and Linda Parker, Founders and Curators of the Bedford Boys Tribute Center are responsible for the production of the documentary and will be on hand to answer questions.
