Free Flu Clinic, Mount Rogers Health District, Carroll County

Mount Rogers Health District, along with the Twin County Community Foundation, will be offering free vaccines to residents of Carroll and Grayson Counties and the City of Galax at vaccine clinic events. Flu vaccination will be critical this year as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage everyone to come get a free flu shot at a clinic and to take advantage of additional vaccine options at the local health department. . Only seasonal influenza (“flu”) vaccine will be offered at these community events. The Carroll County clinic will be held Wednesday, October 21 from 1 – 6 p.m. at Carroll County Middle School, 1036 North Main Street, Hillsville. The Galax clinic will be held Wednesday, October 28 from 1 – 6 p.m. at Galax Parks and Recreation, 601 South Main Street, Galax. Do not attend if you are sick with COVID-like symptoms. Please wear a face covering when attending. Wearing short sleeves or sleeves that roll up will speed things along. A parent or guardian must accompany those under the age of 18.
