Event Description

DEA National RX Take Back will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10 am until 2 pm. This event addresses a crucial public safety and health issue. 6 Million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs and the majority were obtained from family or friends, often from the home medicine cabinet. This day is an opportunity to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths, as well as protect our waterways. Turn in unused, unwanted or expired medications for safe disposal. NOTE: No needles. Open to the public and no appointment is necessary. Locations include Roanoke City, Botetourt County, Salem , Vinton and Roanoke County. For more information visit westernvawater.org or raysac.org
